Asmara — Eritrean nationals residing in Copenhagen city, Denmark, conducted discussion on August 17 regarding the objective situation in the Homeland.
Speaking on the occasion, the Head of Public and Community Affairs at the Eritrean Embassy to Sweden, Mr. Tekle Mengistu, indicated that major accomplishments have been registered in the political, economic, diplomatic, social and cultural spheres. He stated that these achievements registered at this challenging stage are vivid demonstration of the Eritrean people's steadfastness.
Mr. Tekle further pointed out that the national development drive is being stepped up through the active participation of the people and members of the Defense Force. He called on Eritrean citizens living abroad to reinforce national unity and enhance their contribution to the development programs.
Commending the efforts which the people and Government are exerting to achieve food security, the participants reiterated their readiness to live up to the nation's expectation.
