Angola: Doctores Productions Reunite Puto Prata And Noite E Dia

20 August 2008

Luanda — Separated three years ago, after five years together for the development of Angola's Kuduro music genre, the duo Puto Prata and Noite e Dia are back to offer a show this Friday, here, in Atlântico cinema.

A source from Doctores Productions, organisers of the event, informed that besides the two singers, kuduro singers like Puto Lilas, Bruno M, Fofandó and Puto Saborosa will also perform.

The Musician Yuri da Cunha and the bands Afro Men, Kalibrados and Army Squad, as well as the Tuneza comedy group were also invited to perform in the show.

Puto Prata and Noite e Dia began singing together in 2002, after the producers Jup Som and Mãe Ju released the first successful duo of the time, namely Fodandó and Puto Saborosa.

Puto Prata and Noite e Dia were among the country's most successful kuduristas, having released two albums as a duet and one solo album each, continuing with their individual careers.

The ticket for the show is being sold at the price of 2000 kwanzas (USD 1 equals 75 kwanzas).

Puto Prata and Noite e Dia will have the opportunity of singing old hits like "São Vocês", "Kibeixa", "Avião", "Bate a Bola Baixa", "Tira Makossa", "Sele", among others.
