Maputo — Road transport legislation is not an end in itself, but exist to ensure that the users of transport are treated in a dignified and decent manner, the Permanent Secretary of the Mozambican Transport Ministry, Albano Junior, declared on Wednesday.
Speaking at a seminar in Maputo on revising the road transport regulations, Junior stressed that the concerns of those who use transport companies is that vehicles should be safe and comfortable, that passengers should be respected, and that routes and timetables should be obeyed - in short that transport operators should offer a good quality service.
