Harare — URBAN grooves artiste Alexio Kawara's much awaited album titled Kana -- his fourth project-is now complete.
The 12-track album will be launched on August 29 and the young artiste is promising his fans nothing short of fireworks on the night.
A number of artistes that include veteran Andy Brown, the legendary Phillip Svosve formerly of the late James Chimombe's Ocean City Band, renowned producer/musician Clive Mono Mkhundu, Nesto and Cindy have been lined up to feature on the official launch.
They all played a role in the album.
Like wine, the talented young artiste seems to be growing better with time and his latest album bears clear testimony to this.
The album is a fusion of various types of music genres ranging from pasada, rock, RnB to jazz as the young artiste attempts to cater for all types of audiences in one project.
The album opens up with the track Karwiyo Aka, which is dedicated to Kawara's wife. In it he declares his unending love for her and how much he respects and cherishes her.
The album rolls on to Hatizive, a gospel track that serves as an encouragement to people to look up to the Lord in all circumstances. In this track, Andy Brown and Phillip Svosve managed to add flavour to the tempo of the song and thus added on to its ingenuity.
Shaina, is a message about hope and in it Alexio calls upon people not to lose their hope and faith, as there is always light at the end of the tunnel.
Kawara has managed to scoop a total of four awards from both the Zimbabwe Music Awards and the National Arts Merits Awards since he went into music.
