Kenya: Varsity Launches First Aviation Degree Course

Nairobi — Moi University has introduced an Aerospace Engineering degree programme, which is aimed at making the Kenyan air space safer.

The programme, to be done in collaboration with Oklahoma University of the United States of America, will be the first of its kind in the country.

It involves the study of air security, aerospace technical service management, aerospace logistics and professional piloting.

Welcoming the introduction of the degree, the director general of Kenya Civil Aviation Authority Mr Chris Ruto, said there has been no proper guideline in studying aviation in the country.
