As part of their commitment to show affection for mentally challenged children, the Poly Group Ladies Association (PGLA) would be paying periodic visits to the Accra Psychiatric Children's Hospital.
This is part of their social responsibility, which they intended to perform every week, specifically every Wednesday of the week.
During such visits the children would be feed and also time would spend with them in showing affection to them. v The programme was by the guidance of the President of the Indian Women Association (IWA) Mrs. Mehek Mohanani.
It would be recalled that the IWA, in collaboration with the National Partnership for Children Trust (NPCT), donated an amount of GH¢60.00 for the construction of a four-classroom block for children of the Nima Cluster of Schools.
This was aimed at boosting the falling educational level standards within the Nima community.
