Beijing, China — Angolan plastic artist, Marcela Costa, Sunday in Beijing considered as important to participate at the China Olympic Games, with her paintings, Angop learned.

The artist who is in China at the invitation of the Angolan Olympic Committee (COA) expressed satisfaction, despite the negative results achieved by the national teams in the competition.

Speaking to Angop, in Beijing, she underlined that it is always a honour to show the little of what is done as, she added, the most important is the Angola name: We are here to express solidarity to the Olympic Games and find out to internationalise more and more our culture and arts", she said.

Angola participated at the Olympic Games in the modalities of women handball, beach volleyball, canoeing, basketball and athletics.
