Ghana: Fortuner for Graps

Golfers in the Mining Sector of the Wassa West District in the Western Region will have the opportunity of winning a brand new TOYOTA FORTUNER vehicle, come August 31.

The Damang Golf Club is hosting the Toyota Golf Tournament sponsored by Toyota Ghana Company Limited. The Competition is open to Amateur Golfers from Tarkwa Golf Club, Damang Golf Club, Ankobrah Golf Club and invited guests of the sponsor.

The grand prize is the reward of the Hole-In-1 component of the tournament and golfers would have to battle for it. Apart from the ultimate prize, additional fourteen (14) prizes will be awarded to the best men and ladies winners, closest to the pin, longest drive shots and the Booby would also be awarded a prize.

A total of 50 golfers (males and females) are expected to take part in the day long tournament. Reporting and registration is at 6.30am and Tee off at various points starts at 7:30am.

Sponsorship of the tournament is part of Toyota Ghana's 10th anniversary package for its Mining customers. Meanwhile, Toyota Ghana has renovated the Wassa West District Library and restocking the children's library with books. The refurbished library will be officially handed over to the Ghana Library Board on Friday August 29.
