Angola: CPE Calls for Reinforcement of Electoral Civic Education

Sumbe — The chairperson of the Provincial Electoral Commission in Kwanza Sul, Maria Cristina Ndembi, Monday in Sumbe district called on the agents of the electoral civic education to redouble their work within voters, ahead of next September 05 legislative polls.

Maria Ndembi urged the officials to contribute to the awareness of the electors, so that the exercise of voting be an exemplary act of citizenship.

She also called on agents to advise the citizens to avoid abstention, and participate actively with conscience and responsibility in the electoral act.

The CPE has 182 trainers of agents of electoral education, spread throughout the 12 districts and 36 communes of coastal Kwanza Sul province.
