Zain mobile company Friday introduced three new products as additional value to its subscribers across the country.

The three new products 'Call me, know your number and notify me' were introduced in order to ease the problems of sending text messages and knowing your phone number.

Zain's brand and communications officer Ann Marie Ansumana said the USSD was a strategy introduced to help customers who want to communicate but do not have credit on their phones.

"If you have 0.00 units in your phone and you want someone to call you, there is no need to flash but rather dial 144*076xxxxx# or *144*078xxxxx# so that the person will receive Zain USSD message to call you," she said.

She said the USSD service would give a subscriber the opportunity of quick access to Zain's value added services in the tariff package.

She said it has been difficult for some customers to know their mobile numbers but with the new strategy 'know your number' it will be simple as it only requires one to dial *242xxxxxx#.

Ansumana added that *244* 076xxxxxx# should be dialled to access the 'notify me' service.

Ansumana noted that the USSD service does not require additional activation as the service is provided permanently and free of cost.

Meanwhile, Zain Saturday held its weekly promotional draw at the Grass field community centre on Lumley in Freetown.

Subscribers won prizes which included five mobile phones, two bags of rice, five thousand units credit cards, five hundred thousand Leones cash and a star prize of one million leones for each region of the country.
