Angola: Luanda Governor Calls for Tolerance

Luanda — The governor of Luanda province, Francisca do Espírito Santo, Monday here appealed for the spirit of tolerance in order for the September 5 parliamentary election to go in an environment of peace.

She was speaking to hundreds of church women from the Universal Church of the Kingdom of God.

Francisca do Espírito Santo highlighted the need for everyone to respect each other, so the elections take place in an environment of peace, to the benefit of the country and its development.

She said the forthcoming legislative elections constitute an exercise of democracy for all Angolans, and appealed to all women to vote.

According to the governor, the Universal Church of the Kingdom of God has been helping a lot Angolans with the pacification of spirits.
