Investigation conducted by this paper has revealed that two top officials of the Center for National Documents and Records (CENDR) known for short as the "Archives" have been booked for forgery.
According to the investigation, the Deputy Director General for Technical Services Shadrick Kanneh and the Registrar for deeds in Careyburg, Montserrado County Julius Flomo are currently undergoing investigation at the headquarters of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI).
According to sources, from the headquarters of the National Bureau of Investigation, the two officials have been held for more than one week through ongoing intensive investigations. Authorities at the Bureau hinted this Paper that the forgery case was brought to their attention by local authorities of the township of Careyburg.
Mr. Shadrick Kanneh and Julius Flomo have been allegedly engaged forgery of signatures and subsequently duped several individuals of the lands.
The Center for National Documents and Records is a governmental center while public, private documents are kept for records, and duplications if the needs arise from the individuals, or a place that is used for research.
NBI Source pointed out that the two officials are yet to exonerate themselves from the forgery allegation. The source added that the NBI has attached seriousness' to the forgery allegation due to the growing cases of land disputes which have engulfed the country and subsequently resulted in the death of many others along with the destruction of properties.
One of such is the Margibi County land dispute that resulted in the death of 13 persons which has seen the arrest and detention of Junior Senator Roland Kaine along with others who is facing murder charges.
