Somalia: "Govt Troop's Acts Against Schools Are Undesirable" - Rights Group

Mogadishu — Elam human rights groups have expressed concern over the entering of school buildings by the government troops where they injured five people including students and teachers on Tuesday.

The acting chairman of the group Ali Yasin (Fadha) told Shabelle that it was an out of order the troop's acts they crossed the line of S.Y.L school that locates near the airport.

"It was deplorable the troop's search operation they came into the school as the students were in their normal learning activities" Fadha said" where are the regulation on student's violation available"

These acts that the government troops are doing in Mogadishu come as the students have expressed additional concern the closure of the streets lead into their learning sites by the government troops.
