Luanda — The novel entitled "Avô Dezanove e o Segredo do Soviético", by the Angolan writer Ndalu de Almeida, was presented on Monday in Luanda, ANGOP witnessed.
The book was released by the Nzila publishing house and has 1,500 copies available for the market, at the price of 1,500 Kwanzas (roughly USD 20).
The book tells of Luanda city in the 1980s, stories from Praia do Bispo neighbourhood, which according to the writer is a work that started as a fable and grew up until becoming a novel with this title.
Ndalu de Almeida was born in 1977, in Luanda, and is graduated in sociology by a Portuguese university. He is experienced in the areas of theatre and painting.
He has so far released 10 books, some of which translated into English, German, Italian, French, Spanish and Chinese.
