Angola: Government Invests in Cultural Infrastructures

Huambo — The construction and rehabilitation of the cultural complex of Huambo city (centre of Angola) have reached completion.

This was said by the provincial director of the Ministry of Culture, Pedro Tchissanga.

Located in Huambo city centre, the complex is estimated to have cost Akz 467,2 million (one Usd is Akz 7,5) and the works are part of the local government public investment programme.

Pedro Tchissanga added that the investment signifies a guarantee of the full and successful functioning of all cultural organs in the province and appealed to the workers of the institution and affiliates to make a bigger effort to publicise the national culture and preserve the infrastructure.
