Omatek Computers has unveiled a new logo, as a mark of the company's preparedness to entrench the brand in the market place, as well as position it as a world class brand, in order to compete favourably on the world market.
On hand to officially unveil the new logo, as part of the activities marking the 21st Anniversary of the company held in Lagos recently, was the Minister of Science and Technology, Mrs. Grace Ekpiwere, the Lagos State Deputy Governor, Mrs. Adebisi Sosan, Minister of State for Information and Communications, Ibrahim Nakande, Minister of State for Finance, Remi Babalola, all from Nigeria, and a host of other industry key players.
According to the company the new logo represents the Master Brand - the embodiment of the corporate entity - and its products/services. The word 'Omatek' is represented powerfully in black type. It is centralized and well placed within the context of all the other elements.
The upright swoosh, and an inverted swoosh in elliptical movement, seen on the new logo, represents the nature of the ICT industry, in which there is constant CHANGE and innovation.
The process black utilized represents the SOLIDITY and PEDIGREE of Omatek, having being in operation for twenty-one years
Yellow is a colour that represents ENTREPRENEURSHIP and DYNAMISM as embodied in the success story of Omatek so far.
Omatek remains the only company in Africa that produces computers and casings from Completely Knocked Down (CKD) components, sourced from the highest grades of manufacturers, thus making all Omatek Computers of World Class standards, comparable to any other foreign brand.
