The chief executive officer of Bahmed Travel and Tours, Black Stars' official travel agents, Alhaji Ahmed Bandoh is responding from far away USA, following the seeming controversy creeping into the organization of this year's Hajj.

Two bodies, the National Hajj Council (NHC) and the Interim Hajj Committee (IHMC) has emerged, both claiming to have the mandate to organize the annual pilgrimage to Mecca.

But Alhaji Bandoh, currently in the US, who is expected home soon, has given the assurance that he will bring his travel and tours expertise to bear on the situation to salvage it.

"All that I am looking forward to, is to unify the two bodies to enable my fellow Moslems go to perform the Hajj," he said on telephone yesterday.

He added that "This problem which is becoming a characteristic of the annual program will certainly be a thing of the past."
