In line with the bank's commitment to ensuring convenient, flexible and secured banking and payment services for both parents/guardians and students, United Bank for Africa (UBA), Ghana has recently entered into a partnership with the Labone Secondary School.
Under this partnership, parents can now pay their wards school fees at any of UBA's 16 branches nationwide in Accra, Tema, Takoradi, Kumasi and Aflao. Experienced tellers would also be deployed at the school to receive fee payments at UBA teller points. UBA has also made the fees payment more flexible with the availability of an E-zwich point of sale terminal for persons who would opt for a cashless transaction.
Speaking in an interview with the Chief Operating Officer, Sanusi Mudasiru, he mentioned that UBA (Ghana) has remained unrelenting in its effort to make a difference in the education sector. He said that the watchwords of the bank which are convenience, customer satisfaction and innovation are driving the bank's superior and unparalleled service to the Ghanaian public. According to him, UBA will soon extend these services to other educational institutions in the country.
UBA's superior IT infrastructure enables it to offer the most convenient and safest platform for fees payment by the public. The UBA platform is highly automated with efficient transaction solutions. This efficient platform is devoid of any manual manipulation and it enables the system to perform all sorts of validations.
