Angola: Teams Get to Know Opponents for Clubs World Cup

Luanda — Juventude de Viana and Petro de Luanda, the representatives of Angola to the roller-skate hockey world championship of clubs, already know who their opponents will be in the first stage.

This second world tournament of clubs will take place on September 22-29, this year, in Spain.

Still without the match-ups of the first round, ANGOP has learnt that Petro de Luanda are in group B with FC Barcelona (Spain), Centro Valenciano (Argentina) and Bassano 54 (Italy), whereas Juventude de Viana, in group D, will face Barcelos (Portugal), Valdagno (Italy) and Quevert (France).

Juventude and Petro qualified for this competition during the African Clubs Championship, held in Luanda last July, where the two Angolan teams finished first and second, respectively.
