Lagos — Recently, the entire Katsina emirate was thrown into bewilderment when news broke that some hoodlums had gained entry into the family house of President Umaru Musa Yar'Adua. The first family's country home is not alone in the orgy of robberies that have enveloped Katsina in recent time, there are other sad tales in the city. Danjuma Michael writes

For some days after suspected thieves broke into President Umaru Musa Yar'Adua's family house in Katsina metropolis, some observers' discussions on the matter had bordered on several of things: what were the thieves thinking to have entered the house of a ruling president with his elderly mother inside the house? Were they not afraid of the several security persons posted to the house?
