Angola: Dos Santos Hands Over Trophy to Luanda's Girabairro Team

Luanda — The Angolan President, José Eduardo dos Santos, Sunday handed over a trophy to the provincial Girabairro football team, which beat in the field of Golfo in Luanda city the first division soccer team Kabuscorp do Palanca by 6-5 for a friendly match.

During the 90 minutes of the match, it was registered a draw by 1-1. Kalusha at 23 minutes scored for Kabuscorp whereas Caro scored for the provincial Girabairro football team.

The winner of the match was only found in penalties.

This match is inserted in the celebrations of the 66th birthday of the Angolan head of State.

This game was also watched by the Angolan Prime Minister, Fernando da Piedade Dias dos Santos and the Youth and Sports Minister, José Marcos Barrica, who handed over medals, respectively to the lost team and referees.

Meanwhile, Golfo quarter is situated in Kilamba Kiaxi district in Luanda.

This match was organised by the Angolan National Spontaneous Movement.
