Kuito — The population of Kamacupa District in the central Bie Province, last Thursday received several social infrastructures, which were inaugurated by the Social Reintegration minister, João Baptista Kussumua, who is also the co-ordinator of the government's supervision team for this province.
Some of the infrastructures are two six-room schools, an arts and craft centre, as well as a water supply system that is to benefit about 2000 people.
The arts and craft centre will be taking 120 students in one term and provide courses in the areas of carpentry, iron-work, joinery, masonry, mechanic, among others.
The undertakings were built in the ambit of the governmental programme of improving and increasing basic social services supply to the people.
João Baptista kussumua advised the people to preserve the new infrastructures, so they can benefit the coming generations.
The works were carried out in a period of four to six months.
