Utaka scored 29 goals in 35 appearances in the Belgian League last season for Royal Antwerp and moves to Odense in a three-year deal for an undisclosed fee.
The 24-year-old Utaka said: "I have dreamed of playing in the European club competitions and this is a great opportunity.
"I came here to see things for myself and I was impressed with what I saw, I want to play a role in the positive direction of the club."
Utaka was unveiled on Saturday during Odense's home game against Randers at the Fionia Park, Odense stadium.
He has been given the jersey number seven and is set to make his debut next weekend.
