Eritrea: Festival in UK Concludes

Asmara — Eritrea Festival in the United Kingdom which was conducted from August 29 to 31 has concluded in a colorful manner.

The three-day festival highlighted different cultural shows, sports competition, arts exhibition and sculpture works, and the like.

Ms. Leul Gebreab, Chairperson of the National Union of Eritrean Women (NUEW) conducted a seminar on the objective situation in the homeland and the national development drive. She indicated that the accomplishments registered so far in the nation-building process are gratifying thanks to the concerted efforts made by the people and members of the Defense Force.

Thousands of Eritrean citizens from the cities of London, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Manchester, Liverpool and Leeds took part in the festival.
