Luanda — Angolan head of State, José Eduardo dos Santos, said Monday in Northern Uige province the Government will reinforce its national reconstruction works, including its material and spiritual components.
José Eduardo dos Santos was speaking to the provincial authorities, traditional authorities and representatives of the local civil society.
According to the president who stayed in Uige for a few hours to inaugurate social and economic undertakings, "it is also the Government's task to define the great objectives (...), or the great national designs."
"We are counting on you in this effort of study, reflection on the paths we have to run, we have to continue to march together and rebuild the province of Uige, a country of which we can be proud," added the president.
On the other hand, the president noted the worries presented by the traditional authorities and promised to do the best to gradually meet the populations' needs.
