Luanda — Angolan head of State, José Eduardo dos Santos, Tuesday in Luanda, inaugurated the country's only and State-owned television station (TPA) production centre, in the Camama area, Kilamba Kiaxi, district.
The inauguration followed the second phase that comprises four main blocks that house administrative services, studios, energy, restaurant and alike services.
The move was intended to address the great need in studios and secures the transfer of non-informative production from the headquarters and rented facilities.
With this centre, TPA will launch a fiction programme that will produce movies, novels, serials and documentaries.
The centre takes an area of approximately 200,000 square metres, 14,100 of which occupied by the blocks, passages and gardens.
The second phase includes the construction of two studios of 600 square metres and a residential condominium for TPA workers.
