Nairobi — National basketball champions KCB Lions remained on course to retaining their title after the return leg matches played at the Nyayo Stadium at the weekend.
The Lions, who had no fixture, remained on top of the league standings with 24 points.
Eagle Wings and Posta also kept their campaigns on course. KCB Lions still remain unbeaten and have won all their 12 matches.
Eagle Wings narrowly beat women's Premier League champions Kenya Ports Authority 53-51 to retain their top spot with 19 points.
Eagle Wings have played 10 matches, won eight and lost only one match (48-47) to rivals KPA in Mombasa. Posta, who joined the lower competition this season, remained on the driving seat with 22 points.
Posta, who had no match at the weekend, are unbeaten in 11 outings. University of Nairobi's Terrorists moved from seventh to third spot with 19 points after registering a 82-77 win over pre-match favourites KPA.
The students have played 14 matches, won five and lost eight. KPA men's team harvested three points from their two matches in Nairobi. The dock-men now lie third on the standings with 19 points.
They have played 11 matches, won eight and lost three.
Strathmore University went down 90-54 to KPA but keep their fifth position with 17 points.
