Liberia: Ellen Urges Gedeans, Nimbaians

Relatives of the late Liberian President Samuel Kanyon Doe, led by Mr. Jackson E. Doe and Nimba County Senator Prince Y. Johnson have met at the Foreign Ministry in Monrovia.

The meeting between the two sides was called by President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf Monday to calm recent bitter exchanges between the relatives of the former Liberian President and Senator Johnson following testimonies before the Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC) by the Nimba County senator on his role regarding the death of the former Liberian President.
