Orlando Pirates defender Destin Makita and Golden Arrows' discard Kevin Andzouana are both in the Congo squad for Sunday's World Cup\Afcon qualifier against Mali in Brazzaville.
Makita, likely to partner the giant Blackburn Rovers defender Christopher Samba, will go up against reigning African Footballer of the Year Frederic Kanoute in the Group 10 game.
Mali lead the group standings with nine points, three ahead of Congo who need a home win to keep in contention in their bid for a place in the next phase of the qualifiers.
Andzouana was told earlier last week he was no longer needed at Arrows and handed a free transfer.
