An apostolic conference organised by the No Walls Apostolic House of God started in the capital last night.
Bishop Tudor Bismark from Zimbabwe is the guest speaker at the conference, which ends this Sunday.
Pastor Mason Sharply told New Era yesterday the conference is being held under the theme "The Word is changing the World." Sharply explained that the world meant the systems that are confusing people and the world.
Although Bismark is widely travelled, he is ministering in Namibia for the first time.
"It's an opportune time for Namibia," said Sharply.
The Mayor of the City of Windhoek, Councillor Mathew Shikongo was scheduled to welcome Bismark and officially open the conference, to which captains of industry, politicians, diplomats and many other leaders have been invited.
The conference will today take place at the Nampower Convention Centre from 09h00 but will move to the Valley of Angels as from Friday until Sunday.
Tomorrow (Friday), the church will hold a praise and worship night at the Valley of Angels in Brakwater, where gospel groups from Australia and Eastern Cape in South Africa as well as local worship teams will minister.
