The Presidential Rubber Plantations Task Force has described as regrettable and unfortunate recent incident at the Sinoe Rubber Plantation.

The Task Force comprising officials of Government and UNMIL has resolved to amicably settle the differences between the communities, residents and County leadership for the benefit of the people.

The Rubber Plantations Task Force Chairman, Agriculture Minister, Dr. Chris Toe said this effort by Government is consistent with what was done to bring stability to other conflict-ridden rubber plantations.

In furtherance of several consultations with the people of Sinoe at the plantation and in Monrovia, Dr. Toe said, the Task Force is committed to finding an effective way forward.

Hence, the Task Force has embarked on further consultations with the Sinoe Legislative Caucus and County Superintendent with a view to unveiling a comprehensive strategy in dealing with the current situation at the plantation.
