Kamapala — The former Café du Paris has been turned into a palace by Audrey Limited and it has been renamed The Pyramids. Located on Yusuf Lule road, The Pyramids is a must-visit place especially for people who want to feel lavished and have a feel of their good earned money.

They have a spacious parking place which can accommodate quite a number of cars and their security is tight. At the entrance, you are welcomed with a pleasantly clean environment and smart waiters who direct you to wherever you want to go.

The Pyramids is a one-stop hang out with different bars inside, a restaurant, shop and a fully-stocked casino. "We have various games like the table games and slot machines so one can try their luck on any of the two," said Mr Chuck Swift, the director of marketing/guest relations.

The Pyramids Casino is the grandest and newest gem in the country featuring all your favourite games on state-of-the-art machines. It's also a winning bet to enjoy a memorable evening and services soon not to be forgotten. It's open daily from 7 p.m until dawn.

Besides, you can also catch different sports on their giant screens. For those who prefer taking a few bevies, a lot is at hand for you in the casino bar, restaurant bar or the terrace bar which are all well stocked with the best wines and spirits.

For those who want to carry some drink home, you can suite yourself at the Pyramids Shop which is fully-stocked with wines, spirits and Vintage champagne plus Cuban cigars.

For a well-prepared and tasty meal in a five-star restaurant, the Pyramids Restaurant is the place to be and according to Chuck, they prepare a variety of dishes ranging from African dishes and European dishes, served by clean waiters and waitresses.

"The Pyramid offers the finest gourmet dinning in East Africa," said Chuck, "A fusion of Afro-European dishes from our award-winning international chef Marcus makes this a fantastic evening of culinary delights to satisfy anyone's taste."

The restaurant is open from Monday to Saturday for lunch from 12p.m to 3p.m and for dinner from 7p.m till 11 p.m. The place also hosts private and public functions on booking order - their gardens, restaurant or the casino are nice venues.

Here you can be active as long as you have anything ranging from Shs1,000, and Chuck says any one can try their luck in the casino with whatever little money they have.

"May be at the end of the day they can come out with much more than what they had," he said.
