Windhoek — A former Civil Cooperation Bureau (CCB) operative who 'confessed' his role in the assassination of former Mozambican president Samora Machel and was released on parole from Pretoria Central Prison after serving part of a 28-year-old jail term is a Namibian national.
Although a senior Namibian Foreign Affairs official acknowledged having seen a Google alert on the release of the former CCB Namibian operative, a Home Affairs official said he was hearing about the release of Hans Louw for the first time.
