The one day seminar which is the first of its kind has attracted a lot of debate amongst major actors in the entertainment industry as to the relevance of the seminar 'I am really happy to be a part of this, the Nigerian industry is growing and I'd very much love to be a part of it. I feel attending the seminar will expose me to a lot of dos and don'ts of the Nigerian industry as it is totally different in the UK. I have met Joice and the fact that she is in the team makes me convinced it will be a success, and I hear it is the first of its kind' Nayo, UK based Nigerian act offered.

Kelly Hansome- a US- based act has been signed on to Kennis music. CEO of Kennis group, producers of Kennis TV and owner of Kennis music Kenny Ogungbe made it public this week that the label has signed on the Texas based act to a recording, promotion and marketing deal. 'We are working with Kelly Hansome already and we will be releasing his album as well as his video CD soon'

'It is a unique opportunity for me' says Kelly Hansome 'because I know Kennis music is capable of taking me places, they have done it with a couple of Nigerian musicians before and mine would not be an exception'

Kelly Hansome is coined out of the name Kelechi Obinna Orji, a Nigerian born artiste based in Texas. 'I started singing in the church in 1993. I am what you would want to refer to as a church boy because I play the drums, key board and the guitar'

Born and breed in Owerri, Imo state, Kelly Hansome got bitten by the singing bug in 1993. 'I had to change schools, so singing was not something I started doing in school, and I felt that if you have to sing, the church was the right place to do so'

And now I have gained admission into Full Sail University Florida where I hope to resume in a matter of months'.

His hit single 'Maga don pay' which is presently enjoying airplay in and outside the country has raised a topical issue as to whether he is trying to pass the same message with Olu maintain's Song Yahozee

'Maga in my context has nothing to do with internet fraud or 419. If you watch the video properly, you will realize that Maga means some sort of a helper that has been sent to you by God' Kelly Hansome commented. 'And Kennis music CEO Keke belongs to this group of people' he adds.
