Luanda — "Henrique Artes" group, Angolan representative at the Mindelo/2008 International Theatre Festival, will stage on September 09, in Cape Verde, the "Hotel Komarca" play, ANGOP learnt.
Speaking to ANGOP, group's director, Flávio Ferrão, invited by the organisation to attend the festival, said the play portrays the socialisation of eight prisoners in a small cell one of the most violent prisons.
"Inmates speak about their life, their terrible experiences, living in a system in which the law of the strongest prevails. Escape is better for good or bad", he said.
Founded in 2000, the theatre group that will be represented by 10 artists has already won the following prizes: "Cidade de Luanda", in 2004, "Luanda Meu Enigma" and "Côncavos e Convexos", both in 2008.
