Luanda — Angolan writer, António Fonseca, will launch this year the book entitled "Contos de Antologia (anthology tales)", in honour to the 30 years of existence of the state-run Radio Station (RNA)'s programme, with the same name.
According to writer, who is also the presenter of the aforementioned programme, the literary work, edited by the National Book and Disc Institute (INALD), portrays the state and progress of the Angolan oral literature, and describes fictions, proverbs and fantastic stories of different communities of the country.
With the launching of the 500-paged book, António Fonseca said that he will do everything so that in the coming years the "Contos de Antologias" book can be released yearly due to the existence of a vast material being divulged by the state-run radio, which needs to be preserved for the future.
"I created the cultural programme as a challenge that I have taken up for the promotion and preservation of the country's identity values", stressed the author.
RNA airs the "Contos de Antologia" every Sunday from 06pm to 07pm.
