Botswana: 'Cutrite' Named Gabz FM CEO

The board of the local commercial radio station Gabz FM on Friday announced the appointment of Kenneth 'Cutrite' Moeng as the new chief executive officer.

He replaces Kennedy 'Heavy D' Otsheleng who died last year.

The appointment of Moeng of the ExCut Edge fame comes at a time when the radio station alongside its two private competitors have embarked on rigorous national rollout of broadcast transmissions.

"Given his professional experience in the field of radio and ICT management, the board strongly believes that he will take the station to greater heights," said a statement from the board.

A renowned musician, poet, comedian and orator, Moeng is armed with much experience in radio management spanning over a decade now.

He holds BSc (Hons) Computer Applications (University of Sunderland-UK), Diploma in e Technology (NIIT), Diploma in English (Cambridge International College -(UK) amongst others.
