Uganda: 'Canterbury Not Recognised'

Kampala — The Archbishop of Bukedi Diocese the Rt. Reverend Nicodemus Okile says that he no longer recognises The Archbishop of Canterbury, Rowan Williams, as head of the church because of his stance on homosexuality.

Okile said this while laying a foundation stone at All Saints church Busitema.

He blamed the western culture for promoting homosexuality.
