Bishop Samuel A. Williams, Founder of the Ryama Church of Jesus Christ, based in Virginia, United States of America, presented medical equipment, estimated at over US$50,000, to the management of the Tema General Hospital (TGH), last Friday.
Presenting the medical equipment, which includes bed sheets, blood pressure apparatus, theater equipment, theater gowns, syringes and laboratory equipments, Bishop Williams, who has lived in the United States of America for over 40 years, said his reason for donating the equipment, was to make sure that his motherland benefited from him, as a son of the land.
According to the Man of God, his creator has been very kind to him, and therefore he sees no reason why he should not share what God had bestowed on him, with his fellow Ghanaians.
He expressed his deepest appreciation to the Inova Mount Venal Hospital, based in the United States of America, for supporting him, by donating the equipment to him, to be presented to the hospital.
Receiving the equipment, the Medical Superintendent of the Hospital, Mrs. Charity Sarpong, thanked Bishop Williams and the U.S. based hospital, for showing so much kindness to the Tema General Hospital.
She explained that the equipment, as donated, would be used for the purpose for which it was given, and assured Bishop Williams that they would take proper care of the equipment, for it to last for a long time.
