Nigeria: Faze Premiere's 'Originality'

As we await his return from the United States, where he is currently touring and isn't due back until later in the month, news has filtered in about the Kolomental progenitor's imminent album release cum video premier. This is largely exclusive and we have it on good authority.

Nigeria's R & B singing sensation, Chibuzor Oji aka Faze, will be releasing his new album in the first weekend of October. In a relaxed and fun-filled atmosphere at Planet One, Maryland, the night will play host to a galaxy of stars especially those of the entertainment industry.

Earlier in the year, Showtime had exclusively reported, in an interview conducted with the singer, that he was packaging a re-mix album which he dubbed 'Real Mix'.

As a matter of fact, the singer revealed, in the same interview, that he had completed the 'real mix' of Tattoo girls where he also featured SauceKid of the Samboribobo fame.

The album which was supposed to contain no fewer than five tracks from Faze's Independent album- his last audio effort, was also supposed to include the hit R & B the track 'More Than a Friend'.

After giving us a taste of Psykolomental- the real mix version of Kolomental, the singer seems to have taken a detour by sampling 'Originality'.

We seem to be in for more surprises as our sources predict that it is an entirely new album that will be dropping next month alongside the premier and official release of Originality video; the single whose presence is blowing out right now on radio and has remained in the 'Your Top 7 songs' on Showtime since it debuted.

The singer who is touring America for the first time is having shows in Atlanta, Chicago, Houston, Maryland and Los Angeles among other cities. He performed last Friday at the Homan Square, Chicago and will be unveiling his latest efforts as soon as he returns.
