The Angolan League of Friendship and Solidarity to People (LAASP) on Friday in Luanda commemorates the 10th anniversary of the arbitrary detention of five Cuban citizens by the North American authorities.

According to a press release from LAASP, on Friday this association will hold a session in which will be shown a DVD on the five Cuban citizens, followed by a statement on their situation and future, considering that the group is still in the United States of America.

The event, which will take place in the multi-purpose hall of LAASP in Luanda, has the objective of manifesting the association's solidarity to Cuban people in general, and the five people's relatives, in particular.
