Tanzania: Another Museum Opens in Country

Tanzania has proved to be a leading country in East Africa when it comes to Museums. A few weeks back, a tanzanite gems' museum opened on the Blue Plaza building in Arusha. Even a month has not passed; another museum has already opened in the same town in Kisongo area.

This makes the number of museums in only Arusha town to four as the other three had been established already .

The museum is called Jerry's Maasai museum and the other three museums are Natural History Museum located along Boma road, the Arusha declaration museum and Tanzanite Museum.

Jerry's Maasai museum is dedicated to preservation of Maasai culture which was facing danger of extinction. According to Berr Jerry, the managing director of Snake Park which also owns Jerry's Maasai museum, People from all over the world are interested in learning about the Maasai culture, so this museum will help them to get information about these people and their culture.
