Liberia: WHO Donates Jeep, Drugs to MOH

Monrovia — The Country Director of the World Health Organization (WHO) in Liberia, Dr. Nestor Ndayimirije at the weekend donated a brand new Land Cruiser Jeep and a consignment of leprosy drugs to the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare on behalf of WHO Director General, Margaret Chan and WHO Regional Director for Africa , Luis Sambo.

Presenting the items to Health Minister Walter Gwenigale, Dr. Ndayimirije said the donation was part of WHO support to the Ministry of Health in the implementation of the National Health Policy, especially the revitalization of the health system in Liberia.
