Minister of social welfare, gender and children's affairs, Haja Musu Kandeh Sunday became one of Zain's proud winners in the ongoing 'Own A Shop' promotion draw held at Harris Beach bar, Lumley.

Kandeh told Concord Times that she was at home listening to Quranic recitation when she received a call informing her that she had won a Zain shop.

"I was delighted when I heard of my winning," she said adding that somebody will be running the shop on her behalf as she would not have the time to run the shop because of her tight schedule performing ministerial functions.

"I joined the company ever since they started operating in the country as Celtel and I appreciate their service," she said.

Other winners in the promo are Ibrahim Bangura of Blackhall Road with number 076535365 and Abubakar Nicol of Mountain Cut with number 076660008.

George M. Kamara with number 076461415 also won after several numbers were disqualified as they were unreachable.

Each of the shops will contain Le 20 million worth of items with additional Le 5 million cash for each winner.
