Luanda — A delegation of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with People is expected in the country on Sunday for a seven-day work visit, ANGOP learnt on Friday.
According to a press release from the Angolan League of Friendship and Solidarity with People (LAASP), the delegation, led by the director of the Middle East and Africa Department of that organisation, Francisco Bulnes, will meet with officials of the Foreign Affairs Ministry and of the ruling MPLA party.
Meetings with the management boards of the Angola/Cuba Associations and of Solidarity with the five Cuban arrested in the USA and of LAASP are also part of the Cuban delegation's programme.
Trips to the provinces of Bengo and Kwanza Sul are expected, and in the latter the delegation will visit the first battleground where the Cuban internationalist forces and the invading Apartheid regime fought.
During their stay in the country, the Cuban delegation will visit the anthropology museum, the Kifangondo historic site, the Angola Press Agency (ANGOP) and the State-run newspaper "Jornal de Angola.
