Kampala — People living in Kampala and Karamoja stand a higher risk of contracting Hepatitis E, given the poor sanitation conditions.
Health minister Stephen Mallinga warns that the poor Sanitation in most Kampala suburbs and the nomadic culture of the Karimojong without latrines greatly favors the spread of Hepatitis.
Mallinga says his ministry hopes to contain the disease in Northern Uganda to prevent it from spreading to other areas.
