Former Golden Arrows defender Kevine Andzouana has returned to his native Congolese club Diables Noires just a month after he was transfer-listed, just a year into his stay, by Abafana Bes'thende.
Andzouana links up with Noirs, who are the Congo Premier League defending champions, halfway through the season which is expected to end in December.
The six-time champions are currently in contention to defend their title in the national championships at the end of the year as they are already sitting in comfort in the zonal championship.
Andzouana has joined Noires on a short-term contract that expires at the end of the year after which he is expected to return to South Africa.
Bajo Bajani, the Congolese defender's agent, says the 25-year-old is already doing duty for the Brazzaville-based club.
"Kevine has already started playing for the Congolese club on a short-term contract that runs out at the end of the year. The Congolese league is very long and runs right into December when the eventual national winner is decided. It makes sense that he continues playing while we look at the prospect of other opportunities for him," says Bajani.
KickOff.com has it on good authority that AmaZulu have shown their interest in Andzouana, who they are looking at signing during the January transfer window.
While Andzouana initially battled to fit in at Arrows, he showed tremendous progress playing at right-back and in central defence as the season went on proving his versatility in defence.
