Cameroon: Rectors Urged to Create Employment Opportunities for Graduates

Higher Education Minister, Jacques Fame Ndongo, has called on Rectors of the six State universities in Cameroon to create employment opportunities for graduates and produce an unemployment observatory for graduates in their institutions.

According to the Minister, this is to prepare professional insertion and placement of graduates in relevant openings. The Minister's call was re-echoed by the Inspector General of Academic Affairs in the Ministry of Higher Education, Prof. Mathew Francois Minyono Nkodo, who underscored the importance of academic and professional counselling in the Bachelors, Masters and PHD, BMP system.
