Luanda — Angolan singer, Alberto Teta Lando, who died in July this year, will be honoured on October 03 at Luanda's Atlântico cinema, during a gala of the 2008 edition of the "Top dos Mais Queridos" top-ten contest.
According to a source from the organisation, the late musician's big music repertoire and the contribute to the Angolan culture are the main references that made the organising State-run "Radio Nacional de Angola" broadcasting station to honour one of the most prominent artists.
Guest, fellow artists Mário Gama, Dionísio Rocha, Lina Alexandre, Patrícia Faria, Jeff Brown supported by KYC band of Bié, will be at the event.
Besides various LPs, the artist left a legacy where the albums, "Esperanças Idosas" and "Memórias", the latest collections of songs produced along more than 20 years of career.
