Lubango — The US government spens annually in Angola about 1 million dollars for programmes of fight against malaria, on Friday here said that country's ambassador to this African country, Dan Mazena.
The diplomat, who was giving an interview that served to make a balance of his work trip to the southern provinces of Namibe and Huila, said the mentioned amount has been used in indoor insecticide spray programmes, acquisition of medicines and mosquito nets.
He seized the occasion to inform that the third stage of the indoor insecticide spray programme, in Huila Province, is to start next week, to cover about 80,000 houses.
